This is Lorraine’s first play crawl with And Toto too! Lorraine studied theatre at North Carolina School of the Arts and has performed throughout N.C. and Colorado. Favorite roles include: Sarah in Trying, Slippy Helen in The Cripple of Inishmann, and Meredith in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. Lorraine is ecstatic with Melissa and Maggy again!

Erica is so grateful to perform with And Toto too Theatre Company’s Play Crawl once again. After a long hiatus from the acting scene, she is so excited to play! Erica is a Colorado based actor who has been working all over the metro area on and off for the past 25 years. Erica has also appeared in performances with Miners Alley Playhouse, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Town Hall Arts Center, Benchmark Theatre, and Curious Theatre Company, in addition to running her own private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist at Affinity Counseling of Colorado. She is also thrilled to be creating and teaching a newly offered course at MSU Denver this fall called, “Self-Care in Theatre”. Thank you for nurturing many facets of your individual and collective self-care by contributing to your local arts community.

Grace Maré is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Having done theatre for about a decade, her most recent projects include portraying Florence in Bright Star, Ensemble in Footloose, Friendship/Strength in Everybody, and additional small play projects. She is so excited to be making her Play Crawl debut!
JULIE WOLF (Max)
Julie loves being involved in the Play Crawl. Julie received her B.F.A. in Theatre from Emporia State University. She has been seen on stage as Lisa Kron-Well, Annie Sullivan-The Miracle Worker, Lenny McGrath-Crimes of the Heart, and Elizabeth Proctor-The Crucible, Blanche Dubois-A Street Car Named Desire, and Lady Macbeth-Macbeth to name a handful. Julie has also recently directed Pride & Prejudice by Kate Hamill at Firehouse Theater Company. She will be directing Dracula by Steven Dietz this fall for Firehouse. Jeff Jesmer, you’re my forever favorite. Love to our fur-babies. And thanks to you, the audience, for supporting live theatre.

Carley Hutson is thrilled to join the fun of play crawl! Carley is currently getting her BA in theatre at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Samantha Piel is a local actor and theater artist. She most recently appeared as Dunyasha in The Cherry Orchard at Miners Alley Playhouse. Where she also played Mary Warren in The Crucible. Around town Samantha was also seen as Rebecca in Our Town at The Arvada Center as well as Zoe in An Octoroon at Benchmark. Additionally Samantha is the head of the Props Department at Miners Alley and is a local teaching artist! Enjoy the crawl

Jeff Jesmer is very excited to share this experience with a live audience. Thank you for supporting live theatre in our community. Jeff works around Denver as a Set Builder/designer and as an Actor. TROY LAKEY (Mo)
Troy Lakey is a former High School Drama teacher turned Corporate Training Manager. He still has to get his theater fix though. He was the assistant director for The Inheritance at the Vintage Theatre, where he also appeared in Shakespeare in Love and Boys in the Band. Troy most recently played John in the play Cock at the People’s Building. Troy is also working on autobiographical play, called Your Issue about growing up Mormon and coming out as gay. Troy would like to thank his partner, Stock, and his sons for their never ending support of his theater love.
MARU GARCIA ( Mom)
Maru has been acting and directing for over 40 years now. She has a Bachelor’s in Art from UNAM in Mexico City, specializing in directing. Maru has participated in more than 100 plays as actor and/or director. She has also had the opportunity to act in a few films and some TV. During her artistic career, she has had the opportunity to lead and manage Grupo Bochinche in Mexico City as Executive Producer and Artistic Director as well as The 73rd. Avenue Theatre Company in Westminster, CO. She currently serves as Executive Producer at Wheat Ridge Theatre Company in Colorado. www.marugarciaactor.com
SAM CHARNEY (TEEN)
Sam Charney is ecstatic to be taking part in their fourth Play Crawl! Sam’s passion is theater which expands the audience's experiences so they can gain new perspectives on the world, and they also love all things Shakespeare. Sam is also passionate about makeup and costume design. They will be attending NYU for a BFA in collaborative arts next year. Some productions you may have seen Sam in are The Cult of Gender, Midsummer Night's Dream, Our Town, and Macbeth. Sam has also designed productions such as Kinky Boots, Indescribebable, and Fun Home. When not acting, Sam performs in Drag, advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, on the runway, or curled up in a corner with whatever fiber project they are working on. Sam would like to thank their family and friends for always supporting them, acting mentors for helping them grow as artists and people, and And Toto too for this amazing experience they look forward to every year!
GABRIELA COMACHO-SANGER(Tween)
Gabriela Camacho-Sager is currently 13 years old and is going into 8th grade at Southern Hills Middle School. She has been in the Actors Academy for Performing Arts for three years. She has been in Lion King as a Lioness, Lord Farqaad in Shrek, and Grizabella in Cats, as well as many other shows including Newsies where she played Muriel, and Charlie in the Chocolate Factory where she played Phinnaeus. She loves reading and going to the park with her dog named Henry as well as spending time with her friends!

Lauren is excited to play with Play Crawl once again. You may remember her from productions at theaters around town such as Benchmark, Curious, BETC, Vintage, and more! She's also a proud member of King Penny, performers of an improvised vintage radio show at places like The Savoy and Rise Comedy. Madison is so excited to be an actor in the renowned Play Crawl for And Toto too Theatre Company. She's worked as a sound designer, actor, and director for various companies in Denver over the last 11 years and is the Associate Artistic Director for And Toto too’s Queer Reading Series. She has a BA in Theatre from Metropolitan State University with a Minor in Women's Studies and is very passionate about telling stories from and about the Queer and LGBTIA+ community. In her spare time, she is a Funeral Director and is passionate about serving families in their time of need. Love to Alison, always.
KATHI BAERNS (Beth)
Kathi is super excited to be a part of The Play Crawl again this year. It is her 10th year either acting or directing. I am also extremely thankful that it has found a new home and hope this marvelous event continues for many years to come. The fantastic writer and actors, the camaraderie and fun is always a highlight of the summer. She loves spreading her artistic wings, no character too bizarre and is currently available if any one needs a "sparkly old broad" for their cast or a voice artist for film or commercial work.

Kate is excited to be back for another wonderful Play Crawl. Kate is an actor and director in the Denver area. Credits with And Toto too include Gertrude and Ophelia in Hell, One Last Thing Before I Forget, South Star, The Way Station, and Smoke. Other regional credits include Three Tall Women and Pride and Prejudice (Firehouse Theater) and Rumpelstiltskin, The Nutcracker and Robin Hood (Miners Alley Playhouse). You can next catch Kate in Othello at Firehouse Theater, opening June 29th!
MARGARET BROPHY(Betsy)
Margaret Brophy is a graduate of Colorado Mess University, where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre. She is currently based in Colorado Springs where she has taught Drama at Thomas MacLaren School, been nominated for Best Actress at the 2024 Kickass Film Festival, and performed with local theatre companies such as Funky Little Theater Company, Counterweight Theatre Lab, and The Butte Theater. Some of her favorite performances in the Springs have been in August: Osage County (U/S Jean, Funky Little Theater Company), Cinderella (Cinderella, Sunrise Players), and We Will Not Describe the Conversation (Sonya, Counterweight Theatre Lab).
SOLOMON ABELL (Brian)
Solomon Abell is thrilled to return for And Toto too's Play Crawl the second year in a row! Solomon is an actor currently based in Boulder, CO and performing in the greater Colorado area. In 2020, he graduated with a BFA in Drama from NYU-Tisch. Most recently, you may have seen him in Funky Little Theater's 12 Angry Men, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, or Loveland Opera Theatre's Brigadoon. MAGGY STACY (Margo)
Maggy Stacy is a Henry Award-winning* actor who started in improvisation and went on to train at the Theatre Conservatory of Roosevelt University and Act One Studios in Chicago. Returning to Denver, she completed a B.A. in Psychology, Minor Theatre, and for over a decade has worked in performance and communication, acting on stage and screen, narrating audiobooks, coaching and teaching. Favorite stage roles include Izzy* in Rabbit Hole (Vintage Theatre), Catharine in Suddenly Last Summer (Spotlight Theatre), Celia in What You Will (Benchmark Theatre), The White Witch in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Aurora Fox), Honey in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (The Edge Theatre), and most recently: Young Althea in The Heartbeat of the Sun (Cherry Creek Theatre).
