And Toto Too Theatre Company to Present Regional Premiere

DENVER, CO – June 27, 2007 -And Toto too Theatre Company, will present the regional premiere of the new play The Feast of the Flying Cow... and Other Stories of War by Jeni Mahoney September 7 – October 6th, 2007 at the Denver Victorian Playhouse.

This marks the second play to be presented by the company, which produces material written by female playwrights.

The Feast of the Flying Cow...and Other Stories of War centers on a relief worker, an optimist, a pessimist, and a powerful ambassador in a war torn world where Chekhov meets Pulp Fiction.

When the company’s Artistic Director, Susan Lyles first read the script, Lyles knew she wanted to produce it.

"I found myself laughing out loud at things that I really shouldn't have. This is a piece that speaks to the realities and brutalities of war and yet the situations that Jeni Mahoney has created out of this chaos tickles that genetic funny bone- the one that makes us laugh at Harold Lloyd hanging on for dear life from the hands of a giant clock, Charlie Chaplin savoring a well cooked boot or in Pulp Fiction when the gun goes off in the car."

The play, which will appeal to anyone regardless of which side of the political fence they reside on, is being directed by Lorraine Scott, and rounding out the cast are Matt Darren, Susan Lyles, Lisa Rosenhagen, Wade P. Wood and Kathryn Gray.

The Feast of the Flying Cow...and Other Stories of War will run 7:30pm Friday and Saturday evenings and 2pm Sunday afternoons, September 7-October 6, 2007 at the Denver Victorian Playhouse located at 4201 Hooker Street. Tickets may be purchased by calling the box office at 303-433-4343 or by ordering on-line at the company’s website www.andtototoo.org and through www.theatremania.com.
