And Toto too Theatre Company Announces their Board of Directors

Denver, CO – (JUNE 20, 2005) – And Toto too Theatre Company, a women-centric Theatre and Arts company, today announced the formation of a Board of Directors comprised of accomplished entrepreneurs and industry experts, to help steer the company towards success. Susan Lyles, Co-founder, President and Executive Director for And Toto too, Darren Smith, Co-founder and Technical Director, Cherie Mitchell, Serial Entrepreneur and Janet Hendrickson, Co-founder and Managing Director for MarketingConnexion™ LLC.

About the Board Members

Susan Lyles – Board Member, President

Susan Lyles is the co-founder of the Denver, Colorado based not-for-profit, And Toto too Theatre Company. The inspiration for the company had been cultivated throughout her acting career, which began during her teenage years. Prior to creating And Toto too, Susan signed with Farrell Talent Management in 2001, providing her inroads where she appeared in several national commercials, industrials and local productions such as: Seuss, Seuss, Seuss with Memory Productions, The Food Chain with the Theatre Group and Accomplice with Conundrum State Productions.

Susan graduated from Wichita State University with a BA in Speech Communications with an emphasis in Theatre Performance and was a board member and director with MJM Productions. Additional credits include the 1980’s teen slasher film, Night Screams, Casting Antigone and Uncovering the Truth about Jesus. Susan also studied at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Darren Smith – Board Member, Treasurer

Darren Smith is the technical director for And Toto too and as such is responsible for the technical operations of the theater, determining technical staffing and equipment requirements for productions and acts as the central coordinating point for the designers, the stage management team, craftspeople and the like. With more than 30 years of experience both on-stage and in virtually every capacity behind the scenes, Darren brings a wealth of ideas and best practices to And Toto too.

Cherie Mitchell – Board Member, Vice President

Cherie Mitchell joins And Toto too Theatre company as Vice President of the Board of Directors. Most recently, Cherie has been managing an IT sales consulting company that specializes in helping small technology companies develop strategic channel sales programs. Cherie also sits on the business advisory board of LuciData, LLC; an internal threat management and computer forensics company. In addition to her board participation, Cherie is the Denver Office’s operations manager. Cherie’s community involvement includes: Denver Children’s Home, Colorado Software and Internet Association and Colorado Women in Technology. Cherie holds a BA from Wells College in Aurora, NY.

Janet Hendrickson – Board Member

Janet Hendrickson is the co-founder and Managing Principal for MarketingConnexion™, a full service marketing communication and event management company. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of Marketing Communications, such as: messaging, branding, copy writing, editing, media relations and design. Prior to co-founding MarketingConnexion, Janet held senior level marketing and sales positions at Tablus, Inc., BlueRoads, Inc., Bivio Networks, ServGate Technologies, Inc. and Pointsec Mobile Technologies, Inc. Janet specialized in helping start-ups, small-to-medium size businesses and non-profit organizations create and execute strategic marketing plans. Janet holds a BS in Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
